Far from being limited to dynamic pricing, RM also includes seasonal prices or prices that vary according to the day and times of high demand. Initially developed in the airline and hotel industries, Revenue Management is now applied to many sectors with a common goal: to better distribute flows, capitalize on periods of high demand, and make off-peak periods more attractive through appropriate pricing.
