Could you please introduce yourself?

I am Melany Navarro, Yield Director, responsible for all aspects related to marketing, pricing, and revenue management for the Camping Paradis and Ushuaïa Village brands.

In what context did you turn to Revbell?

We had heard about the partnerships Revbell had established in the camping sector, especially thanks to their Yield Management tool. So, we got in touch to explore collaboration possibilities and determine how they could support us in achieving our growth objectives.

What challenges led you to invest in a solution like the Revbell RMS?

Yield Management is a crucial element for our brands because we rely heavily on optimizing revenue and turnover for our campsites. Acquiring an RMS (Revenue Management System) was therefore a major priority for us.

What particularly caught our attention with Revbell was their ability to tailor their experience to our improvement needs. During the demonstration, some features required adjustments, and these adaptations were very well executed. That’s why we quickly switched to Revbell.

How did the onboarding phase go?

The learning phase went very smoothly, with several training sessions. We benefited from dedicated support from the Account Management team, who helped us especially with mapping and deployment. They are very attentive to our needs and ensure smooth and responsive communication.

Today, how is the Revbell RMS integrated into your daily operations?

In January 2023, we implemented Revbell for 26 of our campsites, which allowed us to manage their entire 2023 season. Following this successful trial period, we extended its use to all 90 Camping Paradis campsites, as well as our own campsites.

Currently, campsites don’t yet have direct access to the RMS, but this will soon change. Cannelle is assisting me with training to facilitate the rollout. Today, only the Yield team, composed of 5 yield managers, uses it daily. The integration is very positive, and new improvements are currently being developed.

What aspect of the Revbell RMS do you particularly appreciate?

What I particularly appreciate is the RMS’s ability to offer a macro-level overview combined with micro-level sensitivity, allowing an in-depth understanding of details while keeping the big picture in mind. This is essential for me and for management.

How has the Revbell RMS helped you?

The tool has greatly helped us by reducing the analysis time for our yield managers. It’s more efficient, and data interpretation is easier. Although further developments are needed, we are very satisfied with the progress.

We know one major barrier to RMS usage in the outdoor hospitality industry is data access. Does Revbell help you on this point?

The tool can connect automatically to various PMSs, ensuring notable accuracy in data retrieval. We’ve been working with Septeo for 4 years, and the collaboration is smooth. Accurate data reporting secures our franchised campsites, which is essential to optimize their revenues.

Revbell also supported you on consulting, could you tell us about that?

We engaged Revbell on two aspects: campsite pricing (strategy and annual analysis) and investment in purchasing mobile homes. Their support was effective and beneficial, with consistent conclusions to optimize profitability.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

We are delighted to have chosen Revbell. We feel heard and benefit from solid expertise. The teams are responsive and provide excellent advice, even during our reorganization with the integration of a new brand. Our joint projects are progressing well!
